Road Trip!!!!!…..this time all the way to Cumbria for the wedding of very giggly smiley happy couple Rachel and Alan! An incredible day starting with some very chilled bridal prep followed by an emotional ceremony in a tiny country church on the edge of the village where they live, topped off with a fantastic reception in a beautiful barn set in the middle of a real live working beef cattle farm….the farmyard smells were rich enough to be cut with a knife!! We learned all about the local tradition of ‘egg dumping’…and enjoyed a very yummy cream tea! So many lovely things happened during the day, but the highlights for me were the pair of gorgeous split screen VW campers that ferried the bridal party around, and the permanent smile left on the bride’s dad after my second shooter Louise accidentally caught him in a state of undress while dressing!! Wowsers….incredible day, well worth the trip to meet you all! Congratulations to you both.
